Frequently Asked Questions.

Who is eligible to participate in Tetr Innovation Fund 2026?
Tetr Innovation Fund 2026 is open to students joining Tetr in 2026 across all programs, including the Undergraduate Class of 2030, Postgraduate Class of 2027, and Gap Year Program 2027. Students who have received an admission offer from Tetr may also participate, subject to their final admission status being confirmed.
Can I apply as an individual or do I need a team?
You can apply either as an individual founder or as part of a team. Teams can have up to four members, and there is no requirement to have co-founders to participate.
Does my startup need to be AI-powered?
No. TIF 2026 welcomes startups across all industries and categories. However, certain funding opportunities may be reserved specifically for AI-powered ventures through our investment partners. Startups that leverage AI effectively may also benefit from additional mentorship, resources, and ecosystem support.
What stage should my startup be at when I apply?
TIF is designed for founders who are actively building. You may apply with an existing startup or a venture that you are developing during the registration period. Teams are encouraged to have a clear problem statement, an initial solution, and evidence of progress by the time of the pitch event.
What is the 7-Day FounderCamp?
FounderCamp is a virtual startup-building program available to all registered participants. Over seven days, founders will gain access to workshops, mentorship sessions, product-building frameworks, customer validation strategies, and practical guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and operators.
How are startups evaluated and shortlisted?
Applications are reviewed by founders, operators, investors, and subject-matter experts. Teams are evaluated on the strength of the problem they are solving, market opportunity, product execution, customer validation, business viability, scalability, and founder potential.
If I am not selected in the first shortlist, do I still have a chance?
Yes. Teams that are not selected in the initial shortlist can continue improving their startups during FounderCamp and resubmit their progress. Five additional wildcard teams will be selected to join the final cohort of 30 startups pitching at the competition.
What do I need to submit before the Pitch Days?
Teams should be prepared to submit a pitch deck, business overview, product demonstration or prototype, customer validation insights, and a growth plan. These materials help judges evaluate the startup's progress and future potential.
Who will judge the final pitches?
The final pitches will be evaluated by a panel of founders, investors, operators, and industry leaders from across the startup ecosystem. Judges will assess both the quality of the business and the capability of the founding team.
Beyond funding, what benefits do participants receive?
Participants gain access to mentorship, startup-building workshops, expert feedback, networking opportunities, exposure to the Tetr entrepreneurial ecosystem, and practical experience building a venture before beginning their Tetr journey.
Can I participate if my startup is already generating revenue?
Yes. Startups at all stages are welcome, including those that have already acquired users, customers, or revenue. TIF is designed to help founders accelerate growth regardless of their current stage.
Can I change or improve my startup idea after registering?
Absolutely. Founders are encouraged to refine their product, positioning, business model, and go-to-market strategy throughout the program. The FounderCamp is specifically designed to help teams iterate and improve.
What industries or sectors are accepted?
TIF is sector-agnostic. Whether you are building in AI, fintech, healthcare, education, climate, commerce, productivity, creator economy, or any other category, you are welcome to apply.
I have more questions. Who can I contact?
If you have any questions about eligibility, applications, startup requirements, FounderCamp, funding, or the pitch process, you can reach out to the Tetr team through the official communication channels shared during the program. We encourage participants to ask questions early so they can make the most of the opportunity and stay updated throughout the competition.
